Finding Savings for the NHS.
IE, in conjunction with its Building Controls partner, has been working with an acute NHS Trust just outside London to design an energy savings programme which delivers almost half a million pounds of energy saving a year thorough measures which pay back in just over 2 and a half years.
In order to come up with the right balance of measures IE undertook a survey of all 50 plant rooms across the NHS site, reviewing the condition and efficiency of the plant and how it is controlled. All work was completed in under 2 months and a 3 year programme with detail as to the investment and savings cashflow was developed in order to present a compelling case to the Trusts FD.
